The oxford saloon is a special place in Snohomish Wa. Built in 1900, this landmark was at one time a grocery store, a brothel, and now it is a bar that serves great food and amazing music.
However, I know the Oxford in a different light. This was the place that taught me to love the people of Snohomish. Thursday night was open jam night and at the time that I was new in town these jams became the blood in my veins. This town seemed to have produced some of the great blues bands of the Pacific Northwest.
Music was always so good but the people that danced next to me was the reason I fell in love with Snohomish.
